The steam versions do not have a serial number, registration is handled directly form steam and is related to the steam account.
Concerning the soundpool:
The soundpool are saved on:
\...\steamapps\common\MAGIX\_common\Soundpools\Basics_22\
\...\steamapps\common\MAGIX\_common\Soundpools\Basics_24\
We suggest you to reset the software over the menu File/Setting//Reset program setting.
If the problem persists check the integrity of your installation over the steam client.
In Your library right click on the software and select "Properties"/"Local files"/Verify Integrity of application files".

I'm pretty much sure that you can solve this problem just by reinstalling your software.
More then often you might experience some malfunction depending on the interaction with the steam client.
Just to be sure I suggest you to clean the steam download cache and then restart the software.
Open the steam browser and:
1. Click on "Steam"
2. Click on "Settings"
3 .Click on "Downloads"
4. Click on "Clear Download cache"
If the problem persists reinstall the sofftware and then clean the download cache again.
Kind regards

and i have 80's pack on my magix accaunt, but not compatible with steam version :'(. Why no store in steam version?
In the Steam version, all instruments are added during installation. There is no need to download anything afterwards. The store could not be added to the Steam version due to contractual guidelines with Steam. The 8000 additional contents only refer to the non-Steam Premium version.
You are welcome to use our current Music Maker free of charge:
