Game Crashes

DirectX 11
Some users are experiencing crashes in the game related to DirectX 11. Especially if you are using an AMD graphics card. The solution right now is to force the game to use DirectX 9.

1. Start the game in Steam
2. Choose Play DirectX 9 (use if you are experiencing crashes)
3. Press PLAY

Out of memory
Update: We have fixed the biggest leaks and reduced memory for the Halloween patch. We are going to keep working on optimizing memory and performance throughout the early access if you are still experiencing problems.

Some users are crashing because they run out of memory. We are working on reducing the memory usage and fixing possible memory leaks but meanwhile you could do the following to reduce/eliminate the crashes:

• Enable or increase the page file size. The page file is some space on your hard drive the computer puts data in when the RAM memory is full. If it’s disabled you could try to activate it. Here is a guide: https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-enable-page-file-in-windows
• Close programs you have running in the background to free up some memory space. For example Chrome is a heavy memory user.
• Restart the game between matches. This sucks but it could help you.

Sound Issues

Sound is in slow-motion, lagging or/and stuttering
Update: We made a lot of changes to the sound system for the Halloween patch. If you are still experiencing this please write to us in the support section of the discussion forums.

No sound

Razer Headset
Some users that have Razer Headsets don’t hear any sounds. They have solved it by closing the APO Helper process. We are investigating why it doesn’t work in the first place.

1. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete
2. Open the task manager
3. Find the process named "*something* APO Helper”.
4. Right-click and choose End Task
5. Start the game again and see if it works for you

Performance

Laptop with dedicated NVIDIA graphics card
If you are not using the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers there is a possibility the game is not running on the dedicated graphics card. If you can you should update to the latest and it should use the dedicated card by default. If you can’t update you can set it manually in the NVIDIA Control Panel:

1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel.
2. Under 3D Settings, click Manage 3D Settings.
3. Click the Program Settings tab.
4. Click Add.
5. Choose Battlerite.exe. If you can't find it click Browse and look up battlerite.exe. It's located in the steamapps folder where you keep your steam games.
   
   Default path:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlerite\battlerite.exe
6. In the second dropdown choose High-performance NVIDIA processor.
7. Click Apply.
8. Play the game and hopefully you have better frame rate.

Other

Steam Not Running

If you get "Steam not running!", restarting steam and trying again should resolve the issue.

Black screen on startup

For some users the sound system is not able to initialize and that causes a black screen. They have been able to fix it by reinstalling or updating the sound drivers. We are working on a solution for this but until it is done we recommend you to update your sound drivers. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm Stuck on Initial Loading Screen .... I reinstalled the game but it's happening again!

How big pagefile game need to run ? i tryed add to my 4gb RAM another 4 ram , and about 6 gb of pagefile, so total was 9 RAM+6 PageFile .Ang game still crashes after i press start match. (little missions i tutuorial runs wery good FPS ,no any lags, but sometime crashes)
