Starting league in solo

I have some hours under the belt, in casual. But I would like to start the league (mostly for sponsors quests). What would be the best role for starting ? I mean the one not detrimental to ppl that already play league. I play 2 or 3 champions of each role (Freya/Thorn - Ezmo/Ashka/Destiny - Pestilus/Blossom/Poloma)
