The "VS AI" community VS ranked/casual?
I don't say this often, but the players in this particular mode, are pretty damn cool and friendly.
Good change of pace from the festering cancer that is online game "communities".

What's your experience with the players in the different game modes? Is your experience with AI players the same as what I described? What about casual/ranked?

I generally experience less interaction with people in vs AI; fewer people saying gg and such. Then again, I don't think I've experienced any toxicity in vs AI either. It's more frustrating when someone disconnects in vs AI since the bots won't let you 1v1 while some people will. I mainly only play vs AI when I get a quest involving ranged characters or I want to make my winrate with a champion or in general look more impressive than it actually is.

Good points, Ive definitely experienced a few leavers but its quite rare. Yes GGs are rarer than other games Ive played that were PvP. Still though, what surprised me is that Ive not yet seen a toxic player and have met a very large number of friendly/polite/helpful people (compared to any recent game Ive played, competitive or otherwise).

I play AI because I only play this as a “chill” game. Some games I choose to play competitively, but not this one.

It's a surprise for me that "vs ai" has a community :o

there's a vs AI community ?

In my experience I haven't talked much with VS AI people. Mostly since they never respond to anything.

But the Ranked/Casual crowd oh boy where should I start? It is more Toxic than a Chinese landfill.

You can easily defeat 2 normal bots alone. So ofc. people aren't angry, but glad when they have the chance to 2vs1 the bots, because those are so weak that it's boring defeating them.

Also funny how bad players always think everybody else is toxic. I very rarely see "toxic" people when constantly winning 2vs1 games in ranked/casual.

"Community" being used to simply refer to the players that regularly play the mode.

I'm sure that plays a role in it as well, but even when taking that into consideration, the players that I've met there are very friendly/chill. It might be "boring" to you but like I said before I just play this as a game to relax rather than a game to be competitive.

I don't have much experience in casual and ranked, that is why I was asking. I have, however, played many many other online multiplayer games, competitive or otherwise. The toxicity in almost every game I've played online has always been high, but in the last decade it's become worse.

I play vs AI quite a lot, almost always when i have melee as quest. I never saw raging teamate, if he leave i´m happy, playing vs 2 AIs is more challenging. But yeah ill be happy to remove counting wins with AIs..

If you dont play cas or ranked you are missing a lot, i would reccomend you to find some good buddies and play together. :)

vs Ai community, good joke bro

I agree with you Herbi.

In add' , there will be always toxic players because most of the raging one can't deal with frustration in a healthy way. Those ones feels obliged to blame other instead questionning what they done or what happen during a game.

By the way you can forgive a bot being stupid or "insta bursting" you, they are programmed and scripted this way.

If i feel the people i play with some potential at listenning and trying their best, i usually give them advices between two rounds. In an other hand, if they act like "statistic blamers" or others toxic behaviours, i ignore/mute/report abuse or all 3 :P
Within most games i played, there will always be "win addicts" that get pleasure only on 100% win streak.

In AI, casual or even ranked, i think this game is here to learn players being humble and fair to others. But we can't obliged everyone being the best examples everytime. But if you take the risk to cross the path of jerks you may cross fine buddies to play with and might helps you improve or try new tactics different from a bot battle :)

Ehh I literally only play vs AI with my friends because I have a general dislike for PvP games and find them way more frustrating than fun. Also just a lot more relaxed there, no pressure on me to be amazing.

I usualy play vs AI, i've played a few casual games, and no ranked at all, so far.
I simply don't care about any ranks or titles, i'm not a competitive player at all.
All i care about when playing this game is having fun. Not only me, but the other person too.
I always try to be friendly, and type "gg"; sometimes i don't get a response,
but i honestly don't care. I don't expect people to have the same mindset as i do.

Just saying; i did not always think this way,
and yes i have felt the frustration/irritation in this game as well,
which is only normal, since in the beginning i got my behind kicked by bots all the time. :P
The difference with others could be that, instead of (constantly) complaining about balance,
i try to see where i went wrong, and improve on that. I still make tons of mistakes.
Which is also why i've mostly played against bots, so far.
Which is probably not so good to get better..

For now i'm just trying to learn all the characters, (i've only played for about a month)
and i play only a few champs as a "main", as they are all very different.
Constantly switching characters is the worst you can do; i've found/heard.
Then you are just asking for being confused, and ultimatly, frustrated.
Before you change characters, take a short break to clear your mind.
Also take regular breaks, whenever you feel irritated by the game. This really helps.

Above all, don't take this game too seriously; after all it is only a game,
and the primary goal of any game -should be- for people to have fun. ;-)

Uncalled for, and I've already addressed why I call it that, which I really shouldn't need to do.

Everyone else, thanks for your opinions. I've got a fair idea of what's up at this point. I'm satisfied continuing to play this game the way I am now. Good people, relaxing games. Guess I'm just tired of dealing with rude arrogant and edgy children online.

Ahh, i play vs AI only for quests, also i play on times when vs AI is faster then 3v3 (that i preffer) casual.

But in general im rm more into casual or league, i like teamwork, tryhard, calling. Battlerite is more challenging then relaxing.. ^^ Even when i play vs AI, im trying to learn.. :)
