Change AI Difficulty on "Practise->VS AI"

Been crushing this AI every round since i started playing this game with my friend, it looks to be set as "Easy" AI setting without any way to change it. Had a lot more fun playing against higher difficulty bots from private lobby but then we earn no xp and no coins at all.

Would it be possible to let us adjust difficulty in practise vs AI? it feels really bad spending most of the time in private lobby practising when we get no rewards at all.
We are not looking to do any PvP.

Yeah sorry this game is 99.999% pvp. The bots are mostly for getting to know new characters.

I'm just talking about a simple drop-down box in vs AI where you can set the bots to be medium or hard. it would be much better practise. i'm not saying i never want to pvp, but i want to get to know the game first. And a good way would be to practise vs hard bots.

As i pointed out it feels bad to get no rewards for that because hard bots are only in private lobby, where we get no rewards.
I dont think it would be very hard for the developers to add that drop-down to the vs AI menu.

If you just want to play PvE then make a private lobby and set the opponents to AI Bots. You can just click on the bots to change their difficulty. It cycles between Easy>Medium>Difficult.

as i stated the problem is that private lobby gives no reward at all. No xp for the account, no xp for the character i am playing as and no coins.

If i were to play practise->vs AI then i would get all 3 of these things. but on this mode we can only access the easy difficulty.

I guess they could add rewards to private lobbies if certain rules are met, like each team having same amount of players/bots but i'm not sure how it could be abused and so it seems easier to just ask for them to give us option to set AI difficulty in practise mode.

What do you want with coins if anyone thats going to see your cosmetics are bots anyway?

Also, training against bots, no matter how long you do it, will not increase your skill against players. It will on the other hand probably teach you bad habits

Well considereing low rank players Im pretty sure playing agaisnt them or bots you kinda learn the same thing really and get the same bad habits tbh.

I'm pretty sure that it automagically adjust ai tier based on account level (or something)
so if you're low level, or matched with a lowbie, you get noob bots.

You can always do battlegrounds if basic moba is more your style. You still have to fight players, but doing the pve is still an integral part since it's the only way to rack up points to attack the guardians.

It's a better way to get good as well since you can die more than once. In normal arena, once you're dead, that's it. You can only watch other classes do their thing. It doesn't really teach you anything other than that you died.

Only real problem is support are more or less useless in it since you need burst damage on the guardians.

Would be interesting to know if bot difficulty really does increase with player level like Carillon said, could anyone else confim this?

still a bit inconvenient to not being able to change difficulty when you want to test out new characters.

i'm not really sure what you mean by "bad habits". as long as there is some interesting challenge on medium/hard bots i think that would be good practise.

We are not looking to do any PvP.

Well just play PVP, more of a challenge than going against the AI. That mode only is useful when you kind of want to get used to how a Champ works in a more efficient way than in playground :D.

i'm not so sure about that, we got crushed by hard bots. they are probably a bit better than many new players i think.

I really don't think it would be much work for developers to just give us a drop-down to choose hard AI in practise, it is already available in private lobby.
Would be nice to get some response from developers now if they are keeping an eye on the forums. Tell me if it can be done.

No no no, 300h in and still getting trashed by bots on hard mode. They ain't no joke, in this game even bots are pro.
