Tips for a noob?
Hey, so I'm new to Battlerite, and I'm loving it so far. I have found a Champ that I really like in each category: Freya, Ashka, and Pestilus. I'm still working on earning enough Battle Coins to unlock Pestilus.

What tips do you have for a person who is new to this game? Depending on my role, should I be focusing specific people in fights? For example, if I'm playing Freya, what champ should I be focusing, and the same with Ashka? What general advice would be good to know as a new player? I'm starting to learn the importance of orb control in this game, as it gives you nice energy and health boosts.

I.E.: What do I need to know as a noob to this game to become better?

play every character in practice, look up guides and read up on how they synergize

i would reccomend understanding what each champion does first, then you can choose what fits ur playstyle. Knowing your opponents abilities are as key as knowing your own. from there you can change your playstyle/battlerites depending on your matchups

Get friends to play with and cooperate. Try out different chars. I recommend Jumong and Ruh Kaan. Especially Ruh Kaan.

Here are some resources for you Veigars_Hat

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUdwaBh1rek 2Lainz guide for a good start, explains everything not shown in the tutorial : True Health, how to recover it, what ignores counters, how to cancel to bait, etc.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DASaLKsrcE 2Lainz second guide about game flow. Basically most of the new players do these mistakes (read 100h playtime).

http://www.battlecrank.com/start/ And here are various written guides to give you a better understanding on where to position yourself, who to focus (remember, focusing the healer isn't always the smartest decision), etc.(some are outdated tho)

I've heard from a really good player to focus on getting good really with one champion and then expanding from there. (granted you also have an overview of what other champs do). But as far as I've learned targeting is individual per game, especially if you're playing unraked becaue the skill of a player can change your priorities.

Agree with others, play every character in practice. Learn their strengths and weaknesses and know how to counter them

Don't stick with one champion (Says the one who is 16 at Lucie and 0 on everyone else)

Why don't you tell us more, or better show us one of your replay! I'd like to see that monster in action and how OP he is!

Place your cancel cast on a comfortable hotkey, faking counters is a must have skill in this game. Play every character to level 4-5, or one trick like me I guess, so you get a "feeling" for them (see when they are vulnerable and all). 3v3 is much more enjoyable and balanced than 2v2 which will quickly be frustrating matchup coinflip.

Deal the most damage while staying alive. So that you can flame your team just like a League of Legends player. :steamsalty: :steamsalty: :steamsalty:

My team died, better run around to boost my score and show them who carried. >:)
Then proceed to steam screenshots and put your MVP screenies "First MVP of the game :D".
Know the role you play, know where to be postioned, know your limits, and know when to regroup.. I've seen way too many Raigons, Croaks, Ezmos, and Jade get seperated from the team and get destroyed by not attempting to regroup.
