Taya's M1 attacks do 14 damage on the way out and 10 damage returning-- land both for the highest M1 damage in the game.
Taya's E, Wind Bomb, is an amazing set up for your M2, X-Strike. If you can chain these together well, you'll decimate an opponent and stun them. Try to use these skills together rather than seperately, though it can be worth it to Wind Bomb to set up an ally as well if you're coordinating.
Taya's escape moves ("Outs") are subpar. Q, Wind Strike, knocks enemies away from you and deals some damage to them. This is good to knock the orb away, closer to your team. Some battlerites improve Q to make it create a field that slows enemy projectiles down, or to make it stun enemies for 1 second if they collide with a wall. You can cast Shift+Q to dash in a direction before using windstrike, at the cost of some energy.
Space, Haste, has amazing offensive and defensive uses, but make sure you're not giving up positioning while using it since you don't have many escape options if things go wrong. Being able to trade hits with enemies while running at top speed is what makes Taya so great. Battlerites will improve this even more, such as the round 2 battlerite to make your hits slow the enemy for .25 seconds while you're hasted. This may not sound like a big deal, but it works in conjunction with your ultimate, making it a death sentence by letting you chain slows to line up all your hits.
Lastly, and most importantly, R is your true out ability. You'll want to tornado yourself or an ally in imminent danger, ideally when either of you are next to a wall to jump over. It has a long cooldown (15 seconds), so try not to get into situations where you need it too often. Use it well and your teammate will love you!
