Game not detecting Xbox controller on macOS

Steam detects the controller just fine, and it works in other games, but Celeste won't detect the controller.
MacOS Big Sur 11.4 / M1 Mac Mini

This has been a widespread issue for M1 and Big Sur users on Steam - I've been tracking it with another game I've worked on:

So far I've heard nothing about when this might be fixed, but it's on my radar on the SDL side since that's where we access controllers from.

Thanks for the quick response! The possible solution in the post you linked to didn't work, so I guess I'll just settle for kb/mouse until there's a fix.

I found these instructions on the deadcells subreddit. The fix works for Celeste as well.

- Replace the libSDL2-2.0.0.dvlib file in the game folder with a newer one from the library original website. https://www.libsdl.org/download-2.0.php
- The file will be labeled SDL2, you will need to rename it to libSDL2-2.0.0.dylib
- Replace the new file with the old one.

Celeste started working with my Xbox Series controller in Big Picture mode after doing this.

I'll try and get ExOK on a new release of SDL soon - there are other things batched into the framework update so it may take some time to get published.
