53 hours of gameplay in, Celeste Freezing, ps4 controller randomly changing colors

Hi Folks - I'm having a blast with this game. Celeste has started behaving strangely, I'm on 5-b, about to get the heart and celeste freezes as I approach death. Also ps4 controller randomly changing color from blue to LIGHT blue and stops working. Thanks for any help.

We don’t modify the light bar, so something has gone wrong with the system itself - is Steam Input enabled? I don’t think the game has changed substantially either, so I would try other games to see what happens.
