Text not displaying on start up.

I start the game up on my Laptop (RTX 4050) and once it announces the creators I the further instruction text is unreadable and mostly black boxes instead of letters.

I updated to the latest RTX drivers but still see the problem.

Has anybody else gotten this and have a solution?

I also have this problem, and reinstalling the game didn't work. Idk man.

Have you tried switching to the OpenGL beta branch? (Library -> Right-click on game -> Properties -> Betas)

press C, theres a prompt for it in the bottom right corner

That helps for getting past the title screen, but the issue here is that in-game text simply doesn't appear, instead being replaced by black boxes.
