Can't route audio to bluetooth headphones

Celeste audio output is ignoring my bluetooth audio output. I've connected bluetooth headphones (tried two different sets), and Windows audio is directed to use them, but Celeste audio continues to only output audio over HDMI. Any ideas how I can force it to use BT? Other games and Windows apps are working fine with BT, and Windows sound settings don't have any override for Celeste or anything, so should be using the system default.
