Hyperdash Not Working (BUG)

So I bought Celeste in January, played through all the levels and stopped for around two months. Rewind to a couple days ago I hear that the DLC is finally about to come out so I go back to the game to train. I was away for the weekend so I was using an old Windows 7. Regardless, I did a bunch of C-Sides and did pretty well.

I got back a few days ago and went to train more to find that the hyperdash (tech in 8C) did not work on my Windows 10 now. I have tried a bunch of different things but nothing is working.

This is weird because back when I first got the game, I was playing on my Windows 10 and the hyperdash worked perfectly fine.

Any help is appreciated.

you probably just need to re-learn it a bit or refresh your muscle memory , go to 2-A and just hyper dash around until you got the timing down

I wrote that I was away for the weekend. Literally in the same day I did a hyperdash and when I came back I couldn't do it anymore, but I'll try, though I don't think anything will change.

if you use the keyboard , its kinda easy , just keep s and d pressed and then quickly press dash followed by jump , with keyboard im completely consistent at it

I use keyboard, and I’ve already tried spamming it. I don’t understand why this isn’t working.

I just hope to god there are no hyperdashes in Chapter 9, though there probably will be.

Again, it’s not because I don’t know how to do it. I have not only tried the hyperdash in a variety of levels, but I have also checked the exact actions to ensure my button presses were correct.
