Could not find file 'D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Celeste\Celeste.dll'
I would like to write in discord, but I can’t. Due to some problem, Olympus stopped detecting Celeste.dll, and now Celeste will not start without it. Help please

Did you change devices, reinstall Celeste, or do anything recently that might have messed with your file structure?

Is there any reason why you're not using the C: drive?

After a long break from the game, I changed the format of the Windows region at most and updated Everest once to 5105. And I have all my media stored on the D disk, because it’s more convenient.

I also changed the language from Russian to English in Windows

I forgot to ask, but can you find the Celeste.dll file yourself at the specified location? Or is it specifically Olympus that fails to find it?

Also, do you have any antivirus that could potentially cause issues by having false positives?

There is only the file Celeste.Mod.mm.dll. As for the antivirus, I only have Windows antivirus and it didn’t touch anything

Then the problem is probably that the file is missing, and has little to do with Olympus itself.
Verifying the integrity of game files or reinstalling Celeste might help, but it would probably mess with your mods and require reinstalling those.

Maybe you could rename/copy your install of Celeste, then verify the integrity of game files (Library -> Right-click on game -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files), then move the Celeste.dll to your modded install, remove the unmodded version of Celeste, then move back/"un"rename the modded install of Celeste so that Steam would detect it as being Celeste again?

I don’t have the Celeste.dll file, and when I verified the celeste files it wasn’t there either

Apparently, Celeste.dll is part of the modded version of Celeste, so it isn't a vanilla Celeste file and all that i just suggested was useless, sorry about that.

Have you tried :
-In Olympus, clicking "Manage" then making sure the filepath was correct?
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Everest?

The file path is correct. How to uninstall Everest. There is no button to delete and Olympus itself offers to download it, but it refuses to install due to the lack of a file

Due to a lack of which file? Celeste.dll or a new one?

I think you can uninstall/reinstall Everest by going to Olympus' main menu -> Button with a cog icon to the right of "Celeste" -> Uninstall (bottom-right of the screen).

Due to the absence of Celeste.dll.
Olympus says I don't have Everest.

Problem solved. I received the file through a friend, and then according to your instructions. Thanks for your help
