Help, My save corrupted
My main save corrupted and i lost all my progress,

I dont think theres a way to uncorrupt it considering i checked the hex editor, and the savefile in txt and theres NOTHING in there.
Giving my stats so that someone can recreate it, or someone tells me how to, that would also be apreciatted:
I had finished chapter 1-9, all the b sides and unlocked the c sides, 97 strawberries, 20349 deaths, 1 golden strawberry (chapter 1) and every cristal heart up until chapter 8, not any c side hearts.
Thats all i think, tell me if i missed any other stats, thanks for reading.

Maybe it's still possible to get back your save file.
You can get your Cloud file from here :
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=504230
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage/
(When "downloading" a file from Steam Cloud, you'll be asked to choose a file to replace, you might want to make some dummy file for this.)

The game also makes a backup, located in the "Backups" folder instead of the "Saves" folder.
Before trying out any of the files, make a backup of them.
Then, try out the backup and the Cloud save (you might need to temporarily deactivate Steam Cloud to prevent it from overwriting your changes).

If none of the files work, knowing how many strawberries you have isn't very useful, as they could really be any strawberries. If you could be a bit more precise, for example by listing any levels in which you got all the strawberries, it would be easier to recreate/help you recreate your save file.

Editing a save file is very simple; The tougher part is what to edit.
Create a new save file, then open the corresponding x.celeste file as a text file. From there, you can edit your save file relatively simply. (remember to disable Steam Cloud temporarily, or else it will overwrite your changes.)

There are some things that can't easily be edited. For instance, strawberries require a specific ID.
As another example, here's one of the things you'd want to copy/paste to replace the corresponding sections :
<Poem> <string>fc</string> <string>fcr</string> <string>os</string> <string>osr</string> <string>cr</string> <string>crr</string> <string>cs</string> <string>csr</string> <string>t</string> <string>tr</string> <string>tf</string> <string>tfr</string> <string>ts</string> <string>tsr</string> <string>mc</string> <string>mcr</string> </Poem> <SummitGems> <boolean>true</boolean> <boolean>true</boolean> <boolean>true</boolean> <boolean>true</boolean> <boolean>true</boolean> <boolean>true</boolean> </SummitGems>
Mid-chapter/B-side major checkpoints also have an ID, and so do a few other things.
Obviously, it isn't ideal to edit a file without a more complete save file.
If you can wait a bit, i can try to edit a copy of my save file, then give you the text to copy/paste.
Or, since you'll need to replay most levels anyways if you're a completionist, you could set the "completed", "Cassette" and "heartgem" markers for the areas and B-sides 1-7 and 9 to true, as well as set "Lostlevels" (Farewell) to completed.
I'm sure you could figure out how to edit the death counter as well.

Also here's the ID for the Moon Berry :
<EntityID Key="j-19:9" />

So, which do you prefer, wait a bit for a slightly more complete save file than you can edit yourself, or edit your own? In both cases, you'll need to replay the levels anyways if you want to collect strawberries, especially the golden ones.
You might even need to replay the levels where you already got all strawberries if you want to get full clears.
In short, it all depends on how much of a completionist you are.

Here you go. Copy that into a text file, rename it 0.celeste and place it in the saves folder and it should work?
I both didn't test it and edited a file that had modded save data, so it isn't impossible that i deleted a line or two that i shouldn't have.
https://pastebin.com/rvhMaZnQ

(Remember, Steam Cloud might need to be temporarily disabled to prevent it from overwriting your changes.)

If it works, you might want to check the golden strawberry in chapter 1, to see if it's collected or not.
I'm almost certain i removed the correct golden strawberry ID from the file, but just in case.
