Platformer recommendations.

I swear i haven't played a single interesting precision platformer in the entire year, except Will You Snail, so i really want to know if any other platformer enthusiast like me knows about some hidden gem that got released recently.

Thanks for the info guys, i already played some of the ones you mentioned (RUN, The End is Nigh, Downwell), and im not very interested in the others (12 Bananas... seriously? No offense, but that game looks like crap). Appreciate it though.

maybe what you need is a totally new genre.
Detroit become human is really good and so is inscryption

metal gear solid franchise
devil may cry franchise
resident evil franchise
these franchises are good cuz there are so many games and you won't really run out of games to play
But yea, there hasn't been anything really like celest, I mean you could try mods for the game but sometimes you just gotta ignore that itch of wanting to play a game exactly like one cuz you'll just make yourself sad in the end.
Just engross yourself in a new game, and if you haven't played detroit become human or inscription, you gotta. Cuz those games gave me the itch to play a game that is exactly like those two

I play many different genres, platformers are just my favourites. Loved Detroit but haven't tried Inscryption, im not into the cards thing (though it seems the game is much more than just that, but still...). Actually im playing right now a very similar game to Detroit, The Devil in Me. Not near as good as Detroit but it has its moments.

Oh yea those games, yea those games are really silly. I played man of Medan and until dawn and it’s just silly more than anything.

Not silly at all, they are great, though this comes from a slasher movies fan, which those games clearly try to replicate, so im just used to silly teenagers taking questionable decisions in life or death situations lol, is part of the charm those movies have.

And yes, i already beat The Witness years ago... in fact, "The Challenge" must be one of my favorite gaming moments ever.

As i said, i play many different genres, so theres no point on recommending anything other than what i asked for, though i appreciate it of course.
