WHY IS IT HARDCODED TO ONLY FRICKING MOVEMENT

They aren't, you can either clear the selected binding with tab or press the corresponding, already bound key when the game asks you to press a button to remove it.

I think i might understand the problem now? One of the possible solutions i saw was to put "/usescancodes:1" without the quotes in the launch options (Library -> Right-click on game -> Properties).

Okay, other possible solutions :
Have you tried verifying the integrity of game files? (Library -> Right-click on game -> Properties -> Local files -> Verify integrity of game files)

If that doesn't work, you could maybe try editing keybinds manually :

What OS are you using?
Do you have controllers plugged in (regardless of whether you use them)?
