Pico 8 resets anyway

Wow good job, why is there even a reset option if the game resets even when you turn it off; i was pretty deep in and got bored of it so i hit exit and now i have to do it all over....

Just lost two hours of progress in PIco. Well that's a huge middle finger from Maddy.

Same reason normal chapters have both restart chapter and return to map.

Celeste Classic was a game jam entry made in four days. Implementing save files is rarely a priority for this type of quickie project. The game isn't that long anyway.

I actually had to check if Pico-8 even has save functionality, because I don't think I've ever seen a Pico-8 game with save files. Apparently it does exist, you get a whopping 256 bytes of storage to work with, but I guess it's just rare for games to bother since Pico-8 is meant for small bite-size titles.
