I need some help

Hello guys, I have a technical problem, and the Assistance mail adress of the game doesn't replying me after mouths and mouths and a dozen of mail.
So, my game just doesn't launch when I try. But it was working when I had buy it, in December, but, after one hour of game, I stopped the gam, and it never launched again.
Can anybody give me advice or anything ?

in what way does it not launch? just to be sure, is there only an image of a mountain? because if that is the problem just press c, its a problem everyone has at first

No, that's more weird. I clicking on the icon, or in the button on Steam, but after 5 second, nothing happend.

Have you checked what Error Log says? Should be at root directory of this game. Paste the content here and hopefully someone can figure out solution from that.

But there's NOT error log or anything. It just "start" to launch, I can even see it in my task manager, and after 5 or 10 seconds, nothing, absolutely nothing happend.

Yeah that or maybe you can run with other renderer/ admin rights. Really good problem thought.

Yes, I alrdeady reinstlall and validated files many times, in three mouths. But nothing work.

And what's renderer/admin right, please ?

Well for most games you can run it with OpenGL or DirectX basically, not 100% sure if you can do it with this one but usually you can put some command line arguments for these. Thats basically that different renderer thing, simplified.

Admin rights err... Well put shortcut to Desktop, then right-click it and one of the options should be Run as Admin. It can make difference for certain games.

Also certain you don't have that Error Log? I didn't mean you'd get error message. I get that your game basically crashes to desktop without any visible error message, but just making sure.

This is using the steam betas for different branches. They said that they got the game running before though so I don't think that's the issue.

Yes, there's not any rror or crash message. The game just start, but there's no screen of the game at all. The only thing that show the game start running is the button on Steam. The "launch" button, when I click it, became blue as always for all othr game, and became green back, after five or ten seconds. And that's all.
(Sorry for my bad English, I'm French and I don't know a lot about computers, so maybe it's hard to understand when I explain...)

Sometimes (rarely) Celeste will open, but run in the background. Open Task Manager (or the linux equivalent) and force close the application. If this does not work, validate the files and restart the computer.

If all else fails, you only played it once, so uninstalling and reinstalling is just about guaranteed to fix it.

Well aside from whats been said, I suppose could be driver dependent (which was main reason I suggested OpenGL actually) too or some other exotic thing I happened to stumble upon on other game.

I mean I could see some possible correlation here, but obviously can't state that as a fact. I mean like if that uninstall and reinstall doesn't really work. And also if you have tried updating graphics drivers, maybe the problem is related to this if both of these "easier" options don't help you. Notice: please try the provided easy solution for now and report back if it works, don't do that environmental variant way yet!

Regardless, whats been said has been more or less troubleshooting 101, so if you can't still make this game run with these instructions it's probably something that Dev knows better unfortunately.
