Not if you have Cloud save turned on, and is using the same exact Steam account.

*Correction! I was thinking of a different game's save folder, but the rest is still true!*

Cloud save can be unreliable when switching computers. I and many others have witnessed this directly. To be safe, go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Celeste\Saves

and copy the files you find there to make your manual back-ups in case you need them.

and find the user#.dat files. Each numbered file corresponds to a save slot, and the *.bak files are backups. The files are small, so you can just copy the whole thing and save it on whatever cloud service you might personally be using, so you can manually download it yourself on the new PC. Then on the new PC, find the same folder again after installing HK and if needed, you have your own back-ups you can use that won't be affected by any mishaps with Steam Cloud saving.
Never have I encountered any form of problem with Cloud save, but aight. I guess that's another viable option as well.

I didn't either previously, but for some reason, random save slots can inexplicably disappear when you load up the newly installed game on another computer. In my case it was a save I was ready to delete anyway but I've seen people start threads about it that had worse potential losses.

*edit*
Whoops, I just realized I was referring to a totally different game above. I didn't have that issue with Celeste, but I'd also be careful with it and get the save files after my experience with HK. I can't think of a reason why it would matter for a specific game.

Yeah.
I love Hollow Knight, but its save-files corrupt so easily, and sometimes just doesn't work.
I'm not referring to the save-system itself, FYI
