Also I'd recommend not doing that, use keyboard or controller.
The game was very much intended to be played with keyboard, where after controller would be seconded.
If you have a problem with playing on keyboards... then you simply shouldn't be a "PC gamer."
If you have a problem with with the arrow keys and ASZX... then wait till you hear about WASD.
Unless you have a mutated hand or something, then ASZX would be your best choice.
You need pixel perfect precious, and extremely fast reaction speed. And you can't do that with a mouse, not in this game.
Play with a controller or something then. No need to whine.
Also simply 'git gud' then.
are you saying the mouse is not suitable for this game? Then read the next paragraph.
Me too. Still would have been nice to have that option, as i have high suspicions it would have cut my number of deaths by at least 30%. Hollow Knight had that option, and since you played it quite a lot, i am sure you know how precise some stuff is. I played using the mouse, and if that option had not been there, it would have been way more difficult. The mouse allows you to bind the two most important buttons to somewhere you know you aren't going to miss them and/or press another button by mistake.
Wouldn't that be worse? Their hands would be crammed together even more.
Seriously, i was just using the same words as OP :
If keyboard feels uncomfortable because everything is too "crammed together", then controller would be worse. Of course, i may be entirely wrong on my assumption that OP tried binding grab and dash to, for example, Numpad 5 and 6, and it felt uncomfortable.
Could you please give a link to said mod? I'm sure it could help OP and maybe other people that find this thread as well. Thank you.
For example, reasons OP and i listed in other posts above.
