7B has a lot of very long screens, and the chapter itself is really long compared to the other B sides. While difficult, each individual screen requires less precision than the difficult screens in 8B. In addition, the final section teaches you the wall bounce technique and expects you to master it to complete the chapter. If you are comfortable with wall bounces, the final stretch is easy, otherwise it's difficult.

8B has a lot of cycle dependent screens, and if you have difficulty with cycles, you will have difficulty with 8B. Several screens require very precise movement, which will cause a lot of deaths until you develop the muscle memory necessary to get through them reliably. The level is mercifully short for a B side.

Which is more difficult is dependent on what you personally find more difficult.

Well... 6B is harder for me than 7B, i feel like 7B is easier, and 8B is the worst B side, but that's because i never liked the core
