After playing D-Sides, im worried about the DLC... (DEVS PLEASE READ IT)
I know its just a mod, and the devs have his own design schemes, but they say they were planning to make the DLC really hard.... im totally okay with that, i got all the Golden Berries after all, so a good challenge is always welcome... but man, i hope they will ignore the D-Sides in terms of difficulty, and that they dont consider that those are the standards hardcore players are looking for.

Those levels are really bad, and i mean, REALLY bad. I just stopped after the Golden Ridge, and im not planning on playing the others. Its one of those cases in which the difficulty completely destroys the fun. I mean, just take a look at The Summit C-Side. I dont care about how many times i died there, i had lots of fun during every single try. The D-Sides on the other hand... well, i was just hoping they ended while i was playing xD.

Somes levels are just not fun at all: the stamina levels, where you have to carefully manage your stamina "meter" while grabbing walls, the extremely precise jumps over Oshiro, considering his "rng" depending of your exact position (i know it isn't exactly rng, but you get the idea), the infamous snowstorms where you cant see a damn thing... everything is just designed to be extremely hard at any cost. I guess thats why i dont use to play mods, but Celeste is my favorite platformer after all, so i gave it a try.... bad decission.

At least the modder know how to use some interesting mechanics and even some of them that are not in the main game, but apart from that, the whole mod is just really bad.

Conclusion: devs please, think what kind of difficulty are you planing to introduce in the DLC, and trust me, no one wants the level of difficulty this mod has. Thanks if you read it and congratulations for making one of the greatest games of all time.

Huh, I actually really enjoyed playing through the D-sides. I guess it's just a preference thing. My thoughts are that there weren't really any rooms where you needed super *precise* stamina management, just creative, with neutral jumps and wall kicks/jumps. I really enjoyed the level of consistency I got with advanced tech by doing the D-sides. Even if some of it is kinda precise.

I was actually loving the D-Sides, but installing Everest made the game lag so bad at some points for some reason, so I had to uninstall it :(
