in fact, I got it on my first time playing Chapter 4.
That's the windy level? The wind bothered me more than the other crap, and I haven't figured a crystal heart out by myself yet, so odds are I don't know how to do it.
In SMB3, crouching on a white block for 4 or 5 seconds would drop you into the background of the level. SMB3 used it to hide various items behind the end of the stage, and Celeste uses it to open up a new platforming path.
Yeah, I never would have figured that out. I'm one of those weirdos who is old enough to have been around for the release of the SMB games but doesn't really like them. I think they are good games, but I just don't enjoy playing them. Part of the reason is all the secrets and exploits. I guess I'm the odd duck that thinks that your game shouldn't be very secretive.
I didn't know that secret but have got this heart easily. A white block seemed too unusual there. I just attempted to make something with it.
