Golden Strawberies?

Ive heard some friends who played the game something about Golden Strawberries, idk if its something related to spoilers but didnt want to look too much into it, what are they and how do you get them? 0: Is there a reward for getting them? :D

They're unlocked by beating a certain amount of the games bonus content. Once you unlock them, one will appear at the start of every level in the game. You have to cash them in by making it through the entire level without dying a single time. I hear that if you get all of them, it'll change the epilogue cutscene.

Maboi TGH did it in a single session live stream a while back. Where Christ at??

Beating all the B-Side levels unlocked the golden strawberries for me, but I also had all of the regular strawberries at that point. Golden strawberries appear at the start of levels and follow you all the way until the end; you can only "collect" them if you do not die. There is also one extra strawberry, a flying golden one in chapter 1 that you get if you do not use your dash at all in the level, that is given at the end of the level.

The ending slightly changes based off of how many strawberries you collect, but the best ending only requires you to have 150 strawberries, not all of them. If you collect all 200 then you get a golden strawberry stamp on your savefile. You get a regular strawberry stamp if you collect all 175 normal strawberries.

When you finish the B-side of Chapter 8 - The Core you unlock the C-sides and the golden strawberries for the A-side and B-side levels. To collect a golden strawberry you need to play through a whole level without dying ( dying resets the whole level and you can't save and quit in the middle of a level with a golden strawberry. when you reload it you will lose the strawberry and have to reset the level ). For C-sides, you need to play each level first and then you unlock the golden strawberry for each level you've finished. The golden strawberries are independend from the normal ones. You unlock the golden ones even without collecting any. There's also a winged golden strawberry at the end of Chapter 1 - The Forsaken City that you can get if you never dash during that level ( if you dash accidentally in one screen you can die and when you respawn the strawberry will be up there ). That one is unlocked from the beginning of the profile but you need to use advanced mechanics in order not to dash and make it fly away ( such as spike jumping ).
