How long game actualy is?

I fear that game pretty short but compensate it with hardness.

It's not short at all if you include the optional content.

The game has a very good difficulty curve (imo).

Without doing the extra stuff, it is decently long.

An average player should be able to finish the game in abou 6-10 hours. depends on how good you are. Right now the record for speedrunners is held at 43 minutes, skipping all the cutscenes obviously.

I am at five hours and just arrived at the final chapter.

But as stated before, i really depends on how skilled you are at platforming games on how long this will take.
5-10 sounds realistic though (for the main game).

It's not "compensating" if the appeal is to have a challenging game. If you don't find hard games particularly fun, I wouldn't recommend it. For anyone who does like hard games it's a good purchase.

C-sides will take you quite a frreaking while but yeah, the easy levels will take you 5-10 hours
But maxing game will take you ages.

I beat the game (just main story) in about 7h. I have to say that I went for some collectables but it wasn't my main objetive.

Now I'm enjoying extra levels and other collectables and I have played 10h but there are still extra levels and things to do.

It takes at least like 40 hours to 100% complete the game. Casually it's only like a 6 hour game.

It took me 19 hours to complete everything without the golden strawberries (completing every chapter without dying, which is nuts). The golden strawberries don't really add any new content to the game, and OP specifically asked how long the game "actually" is without compensating with hardness...

The main game is about 5-10 hours, depending on your skill and if you're gonna collect all the strawberries (which is half the fun). And then there's the B-Sides, which are also a great part of the fun. I'd recommend to anyone to get most of the strawberries and complete all the B-Sides to get the full experience, which will give you a good 15 hours of playtime.
