Chapter 6 Crystal Heart (spoilers, obviously...)
I found out how to get these torches to light up by looking at a guide on the internet, but could someone help me understand how you're meant to work the dash sequences out for yourself?

I can't see any clues on this screen, apart from the arrows below the torches, but they bear no resemblence to the sequences needed.

Did I miss something somewhere?!

I did the same thing, but those crystals above the torches correspond with the butterflies from the Chapter 1 crystal heart, so I'm guessing the "password" requires remembering which directions those butterflies dashed in and following the corresponding colours. The arrows below the torches, I'm not sure, but I figure they're the reason why the 4 "passwords" are different. I'm not entirely too sure about the first arrow, maybe that just means do it as per normal, but the middle two arrows probably means the password is "mirrored", horizontally mirrored for the 2nd set of arrows (dash left instead of right etc), and vertically mirrored for the 3rd set of arrows (dash up instead of down etc).

The 4th torch is clearly a broken clue and you probably had to try to guess what that arrow was based off of what the previous 3 were. If I were to guess, I would guess that it was a single arrow pointing left instead of right, which would mean perform the password backwards.

Of course, since I looked it up, I have no idea if I'm right or not, but that's just the logic I'm going with.

In chapter 1, the butterfly puzzle gets you to associate colors with directions.

Here, you use this information to do it again, with different variations. The gems indicates the directions you need to dash in. When you do it the first time, the first symbol gets illuminated. The symbol simply indicated to do things normally (illustrated by a "play" button)

The second time, the symbol indicates to reverse left/right. (ex: top left becomes top right).

The third time, it's up/down (ex: top left becomes down left)

The fourth time, you cannot see the symbol, but you can probably guess it: you reverse both up/down and left/right (ex: top left becomes down right).

Wow, ok. That's cryptic. Anybody'd think the developers didn't actually want people to play Core-B or the C sides!
