Report a translation problem
The 4th torch is clearly a broken clue and you probably had to try to guess what that arrow was based off of what the previous 3 were. If I were to guess, I would guess that it was a single arrow pointing left instead of right, which would mean perform the password backwards.
Of course, since I looked it up, I have no idea if I'm right or not, but that's just the logic I'm going with.
Here, you use this information to do it again, with different variations. The gems indicates the directions you need to dash in. When you do it the first time, the first symbol gets illuminated. The symbol simply indicated to do things normally (illustrated by a "play" button)
The second time, the symbol indicates to reverse left/right. (ex: top left becomes top right).
The third time, it's up/down (ex: top left becomes down left)
The fourth time, you cannot see the symbol, but you can probably guess it: you reverse both up/down and left/right (ex: top left becomes down right).
