You can dispute it and send them this link: http://www.celestegame.com/letsplay.html
The dev are ok with this content but YT is dumb and autimatized.
As they said, they can't do anything more than what they already did. You gotta send messages to the Youtube staff, they're the ones who ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up with their awful automated stuff.
my claim was removed after i sent an appeal.
If they did add ads, I'd be slightly annoyed in principle, though not *really* bothered as I'm not really a youtuber, just occassionally use youtube to share vids like I would imgur, etc. to share pics. The video probably had 90% of the views it would ever have in the first 24 hours in any case.
Anyway, my point in bumping this, to the extent I have one, is to wonder if I should even bother with disputing? For my own end, as I explained, I don't really care since they're not pulling the video or anything, but if this is a case of youtube acting against the wishes and intentions of Matt Makes Games and/or Lena Raine, then I will dispute on principle for their sakes, to help make the point to YouTube to get their ♥♥♥♥ together.
i appealed all of them, and they just igmore the appeals. so 6 months ofthem illegally monetizing my vids .
seriously.
out of you hands?
by hpow far?
its YOUR game.
never ever again uploading any content for that game in my life.
this is borderline pathetic abuse of fair use.
Truth is - you see stuff like anime music videos and stuff all the time - but Gaming channels are unfairly cracked down upon. Change your "channel" to something like Lifestyle, and poof! No more issues.
This is not Matt's or Lena's fault; and the fact that mirrors of the OST are still uploaded unchecked proves this. If there's anything that should be contended, it's that.
The only other thing I could imagine is if maybe NINTENDO is claiming this as part of their deal (there's been a lot of Nintendo stuff being content ID'd this past year or so, except certain specific whitelisted accounts).
