About the ending

Does the amount of strawberries you collect influence the reactions you get to the strawberry pie? What happens if you collected almost no strawberries?

Ive finished the game with 108 strewbs, 175 stebs and 12 strewb, all different endings with what the y say about the pie and a different picture

at 12 they made fun of my pie :( it really hurt.

going to try a zero strewb run, really hope it has a unqiue ending and isint the same as the one i got with 12

I wonder if it's different at 199 strewbs and if it's possible 200 strewbs? I have a strong feeling moving the hearts around in madilines book has to do with a 200th strewb

Can you see the ending multiple times in the same save file?

For example, finish with any amount of strawberries, get one reaction at the ending, then play the same save file to collect the remaining strawberries and get another reaction at the ending.

There is a Epilogue level. Can't say if it changes depending on how many strawberries as I collected every strawberry I could before starting the next chapter.

I would assume it changes based on how many strawberries you have when you start the it.
Easy way would be to use Assist mode in another save slot to rush the game, then check the ending after collecting strawberries.

If you turn on assist mode, you can literally skip every level and see the epilogue with zero berries.

It'd be nice if someone could compile all the dialogue and CGs for the different endings, based on strawberry count. After watching a speedrun of Celeste, it looks like 0 berries makes a plain pie, and a personal save file with 199 berries has a proper pie with strawberry ice cream and everything. From my first save file, I know that around 70 berries gives you a pie filled with strawberries, but without ice cream. I don't know if there are any other intermediates between 199 and 0.

N'aw. So no special changes for collecting precisely 0 strawberries. ...I wonder if one could edit the strawberry counter to be something other than a number or something impossible in-game, and what the game would default to in that case.
