Same Dev Who Inserted That Anita Like Charater To Towerfall
So I'm already guessing this game is for the tumblr sjw crowd but I'll check out if the gameplay at least holds up.

Who gives a ♥♥♥♥?
The gameplay is good. Why do you even play games?
d0mmunism 27 ENE 2018 a las 17:06
Just try the game. I'm through the first few levels and it's nothing but incredible so far.

Dev supports Anita, huh? I'll buy a second copy to make up for you, then.

Thanks for letting me know!

I didn't buy it because of that lols, don't want to support developers who are bad people

you guys are out of your mind, you claim to dislike sjws so much but some of you sure act JUST like them/
I'm not a fan of Anita or the SJW stuff, and I'm also not a fan of gamer-gate kids, both groups are obnoxious. If people hadn't told me that this was the same developer that put Anita into Towerfall, I would never have known, this game is it's own story with nothing like that inserted. Take that however you will.
Can we stop pretending like Anita Sarkeesian is some kind of devil incarnate? How has she hurt the games industry? All she's done is open up the conversation about how women are depicted in games and tried to broaden peoples' understanding of feminism. She hasn't taken away your games, she hasn't stopped great games from being made.

She cherrypicks her examples a lot, and has overall really terrible arguments. It's pretty clear she has no idea what she's talking about. But I will agree that she doesn't deserve all that absurd hate she's getting over it.

Agreed, but even if I disagreed, transferring that level of hatred to a man who offered vague support to her years ago is absolutely ridiculous. Especially considering that not a single thing about Celeste even remotely relates to that situation.

I agree with that as well. Heck, I loved Towerfall as well, despite the Anita skin within. I just did the simple act of never using it and enjoying the game. Who or what people support is none of my business.
To be honest, from what I've seen of Tropes vs. Women, I never thought she covered the issues in much depth. She could have gone further. I think the criticisms she did make were valid. There was a bit of cherrypicking from games that had better elements to represent, but I think we can enjoy things that are partially problematic. We just need to be cognizant of those parts and hope the industry listens to the voices of the concerned. Regardless, neither she or any other woman deserves the kind or level of vitriol that she's been subjected to. The games industry/community is not all that kind to women, fictional or otherwise.

If anything, the backlash kinda corroborated her point. "How dare you call me sexist, you stupid c**t!". I never really followed the Gamergate thing though, because it's freaking ridiculous. But what can you expect from a bunch of incels.

There is definitely a point hidden behind her poor arguments. She's right in that there is a problem in the game industry when it comes to representing really anything that isn't a straight white male. But the problem lies mostly on stupid businessmen having no idea what does or doesn't sell and trying to repress representations in some misguided attempt to sell more, and in some fringe vocal minority who'll cry foul at anything really.

And yeah, haven't followed Gamergate either. I was afraid of losing braincells from it.

She doesn't really just address that though. It's been years since I saw her videos, but I don't remember her being against tropes exactly. It seemed more like she was discussing how gender signifiers exist in video games, and how more options as well, would be a cool idea.
