Game not recognizing PS4 Controller

So i'm plugging in my ps4 controller dirrectly via usb cable and the game is not recognizing the ps4 controller, im not able to map keys or play with the controller, is anyone else having this problem?

This game apparently uses Steam Controller integration for PS4 and other controllers -- go to Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings and then make sure that PS4 Configuration Support is enabled.

I know that I'm not the person who asked, but thanks a lot for this fix! Just launched the game with my ps4 controller plugged in and it finally worked!

Here's another thing to look into in case any future games give you problems: ds4windows.

Ds4windows can help in case a game is made to work only with 360 controllers, as it masks your ds4 and presents it to your system as a 360 controller. All the buttons are mapped as you'd expect, and as a bonus you can use the touchpad as a mouse(useful for NDS emulation, as long as the touchpad useage is low).

The setting is currently called "PlayStation Controller Support" and must be set to "Enabled"
