Logitech F310 Dpad Issue

When I press up on the D-pad of my Logitech F310 Controller, my games sometimes treat the direction as diagonal. Is the D-pad Function too sensitive? If so, how do I fix this issue?

I had the same issue! I thought it was just me being really bad, but then I changed to my xbox 360 controller and the problem persisted. I must've died hundreds of times unecessarilly because of this...

Your controller is not broken, it's just not precise enough. 'accidental diagonals' are a problem for many many controllers. x360 is among the worst, but many has this problem. mostly goes unnoticed, because people just don't play games that demand precise d-pad inputs.

There are some 'fixes' online, if you search for it, but these are more like DIY mods. If you insist on using a controller try the analogue stick, but that might be too slow for this game.

My advice is to use keyboard, you have 3 fingers for directional inputs instead of just your thumb, much more precise this way. Bind WASD for directions and use whatever comfortable on you right hand for jump, dash and grab.
