i dont know how you are supposed to get the dashless strawberry , or do the chapter 4 b side
i did the core with ease , i did the resort , reflection and mirror temple b sides all in a single day but i have no clue how you are supposed to do the chapter 4 b side or get that damn 21st strawberry i just cant get the one jump to work 99/ 100 times and when i do , i either dont jump far enough (land in the spikes on top ) , or i run out of stamina afterwards

i refuse to activate assist mode on this file but how the hell can you do those things normally ?

For dashless, you have to take advantage of the fact that spike platforms have a 1 pixel wide safe spot at the edge. That strawberry is probably harder than any of the b or c sides though.
As for chapter 4b, it's hard to say anything without knowing which level you're stuck on, but maybe watch a video to see how to do it.

for chapter 4 its just the wind in general i have issues with , idk if this is something with my brain but if i get used to "with a dash you can clear this distance horizontally or diagonally " and i get used to the way it works for 3 whole chapters , and then suddenly theres something that makes the muscle memory i got not work anymore ( like when theres a higher up platform and you have to jump forward and dash vertically up , i would always try dashing diagonally and miss it , its also hard if you get used to how long madeline can climb before getting tired and then wind changes that time too

no matter what gimmick was added wether its bubbles , feathers , double jumps , only 2 jumps per room , i can work with that but suddenly not having the same dash length / distance , not the same stamina , that really messes my timing up

i know on the ground you can fight the wind by doing the speedrun strat of dash jumping but if you need the dash , its just alot harder

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hr2Pp1y4s8

in this video , sections that really hard would be at
1:11
1:35 ( switching sides with spikes so close is hard )
2:00 this one in particular is hard , i gave up at that point (for now )

edit : whenever theres moving platforms or generally stuff that moves around in a pattern , it sometimes is hard for me to jump off the save ground at the right time for the pattern to not screw me over , and usually thats no problem bc i can just dodge one of those chapter 3 monsters an extra time , or i can just go back to a spring / piece of floor or jewel to replenish my stamina and dash

but with the wind you are dead if you mess it up

and the section with the heart looks really hard as well
5:00

at 1:11 for example , it just feels so hard to dash exactly onto smal platforms when you have to also calculate the wind into every dash , thats also the problem with 2:00 , hitting that moving platform with the wind is really hard , its no problem in the resort because i just need to see how the platform moves and then dash onto it , but with the wind its just super hard , its weird , i even got the reflection b side done in 2-3 hours and most of the fails were me trying to find the ideal path to fly with the feather , while trying to also hit all the keys

but for chapter 4 , and especially the b side, the wind is just so handicapping for me , i cant platform precizely enough
