6B was also hard but not nearly as much
7-B is the hardest golden by far.
5B < 7A < 6B < 8B < 7B
I could see the first four all theoretically being possible if I still wanted to dedicate the time (I don't). But 7B would never in a million years happen. It has some of the hardest screens in the game and it's something like 45 levels long (counting each separate checkpoint of 3000M as a level). None of the other B-sides even come close to that in either length or difficulty.
For reference, the two easiest are 1A and 2A, immediately followed by all 8 C-sides in basically any order (let's say 7C is the hardest but it barely matters they're all so short), then 4A, 5A, 3A, 1B, 2B, 6A, 8A, 4B, 3B. At least IMO.
