Different Flags in Progress Book.

So I watched some speedruns and golden berry runs of ch9 and when the streamer/youtuber showed his progress book from the chapter selection I saw a star instead of a completion flag on the left side (next to the B/C-Side tapes). I searched around and found nothing related to this so I started trying some things and found that if you do a run and collect everything in the A-Side level you get a flag that looks a bit different. It has a blue flagpole with a feint star in its actual flag. I'm guessing that if you do the same but with the golden strawberry you get the star instead of the flag. Is this well known and can someone confirm or deny?

The current golden flag is just a reskin of the star, since the latest update.

Oh so there is no actual star in the game? I'm currently trying deathless 100% on chapter 1 A-Side.

Right. Used to be a star, but they decided to make it subtler. Getting the golden strawberry after a deathless run gives you an extra strawberry for the chapter, in excess of the total. The latest update also gives the chapter summary a golden skin for each side you complete deathless. There's also a secret bonus golden in 1A, so your total for chapter 1 can be as high as 24/20.

Yeah I have 24/20 on 1A already. I was just wondering if there was something extra if you 100% 1A while Deathless.. guess not... Thanks anyway!

Ohhh, I get what you're saying now. Nope, nothing special for that.

it is given to you when you get all berries, the b-side tape and the heart, in one playthrough. (you can die and still get it)
