Solitaire win doesn't count?
I think I had 2 or 3 wins already (cards all in place and then falling down), but it didn't count as a win and I don't get the achievement.

Might this be an issue with the linux version?

On the Windows version the cards fall up into their 3 stacks once they are properly untangled in the lower stacks. I did once or twice have an issue where Steam did not show my achievement right away, but it did show up the next time that I started up the game.

Huh, for me they only fall down and never come up again. And yeah the win count doesn't go up and the achievement doesn't work.

Do you have three blank spaces in the upper right? The ones have to go there first.

I'm talking about the end game animation. In the actual gameplay I managed 2-3 times now to put all the cards to the top and then all cards fall down which is a bit like back then when you won in solitaire in Win98 that all cards start to jump out. Just not as wild.

I may know what the problem is, but maybe not. When I first played I was having problems, because this is a different type of solitaire and because in the instructions they are a bit confusing ( especially if your mind is already tired out). So, in the instructions in the upper right corner 4 card spaces are shown and the space to the left has a stack of cards with the 'green 7' at the bottom of the stack, but closest towards the top of the screen. A 'orange 3' is at the top of the stack, but closest in the stack to the bottom of the screen. In going over the instructions quickly I made the mistake of associating the top right quarter of the instructions with the top right quarter of the card game board. So, I tried stacking the cards as I had seen in the upper quarter of the instructions and then moving them to the upper quarter of the game board. My mistake. The final postion of the numbered cards will be in the upper right quarter with each color on its own color and with the 1 on the bottom of the stack ( first card to be placed in the upper quarter). The Dragon cards go in the upper left, but they will not stack until 4 of a kind are exposed and either there is an empty space in the upper left or one of the 4 of a kind is already in a top left slot.

I don't think that carefully reading and interpreting the card instructions was intended to be a puzzle, but in case it was the I have blacked out part of my explanation.

If your problem is different then please post a screen shot.

Yeah you are exactly describing how I end my games. I'm on a different PC right now but my description of the situation above should be enough. I think it's a bug in the Linux version.

I play on linux, and have no problems at all. I am at 20+ wins, and every win got counted so far.

Huh, that's weird. I will try to make a video next time when I am at that PC.

I just noticed a win gets counted at the end of the win animation. Maybe you clicked new game just a bit to soon?
Edit: Nope, next game, the win is counted before the end of the animation. I still have every win counted, but it is strange behaviour...

I remember after I noticed the first win didn't count I waited very long after the winning animation the next time I got one. But nothing happens.

this game should have prepared you to diagnose the issue in a debugger by now :D

Okay thanks for participating everyone. Of course the one time I'm recording it, it actually works properly. I'm 99% sure I didn't do anything different, so either it was a sporadic thing or it's fixed.

My first win counted for the story-line email mission to win a game, but not for the achievement and count shows 0.

Now I've just won a fourth game and still shows count = 0

Edit: Many, many wins, still shows 0 :steamsad:

Final(?) edit: Restarted Steam and tried to play again. Win counted! Let's hope it keeps counting...

Holy hell. Today, count is back to 0 and new wins do not count!?!?! FFS... Restarted Steam. Again. And count is back. WTF is wrong with this game?? It's not that I leave Steam running all the time. I shut down every night so this isn't a case of Steam getting bunged up. I've only been running today for 2 hours...

I was at 9 wins, then on the next win the count reset to 1. Also no achievement for 10 wins.
