XBus -> Simple I/O
First off i would like to express my gratitude to the developer for creating this masterpiece. This game is something I craved for since i was little. If only it existed 10-15 years ago... sigh.

Anyway, I have a question to anyone who is willing to answer. With saddening frequency i encounter the following problem: I am using MC4000 and am utilizing both simple i/o ports for various different inputs. Thus i only have 1 or 2 XBus ports left on my MC, however the format i want to send is simple i/o, not xbus. What is the most effective way to convert integers from xbus to simple i/o?

I really hate using another MC4000 just to convert xbus to simple i/o format. There must be a better way.

I'm guessing you're still in the early puzzles? For simple I/O outputs which are 'binary' output, as in they only take 0 and 100, you can drive up to such outputs from one xbus pin using the DX-300. Similarly you can read up to three binary simple I/O inputs on an xbus pin using the DX-300 as well.

No, that's not it, unfortunately. DX300 is awesome but as you said yourself, it only sends out binary. And yes, i am probably only in the early puzzles. Last one i did was the controller one.

Most puzzles only require you to read/write two non-binary single IO pins, so the solution would be to avoid using simple IO for non-binary values.

Upd: nevermind, managed to make use of DX300 instead, and made everything way more effective.
Thanks everyone for your advice
