Is this by any chance related to the game "Project Nomads" released in 2002?
Curious. There seems to be a correlation in terms of the gameplay style, though the "levels" thing from Project Nomads was much more linear and there was no land generation, everything was fixed.

Nope, the company responsible for project nomads was bought out in 2010. Craneballs are a different story altogether. Interesting find though. I don't think they're related in any sense.

I just looked that up to and to me they are both different games on all levels.

To be honest other than having the name nomad in them and taking place on a planet that isnt earth they dont really have anything in common at all

Technically, Project Nomads didn't have anything to do with a planet. Not one that was in view, anyway.

It was such a fun game, it would be nice if someone made something like it with current tech.

FYI
Project Nomads actually received some care by modders, tough they couldn't fix all flaws, it might interest you what and how've they done it - you can find them and their projects >HERE[project-nomads.freeforums.net]<

There is however a gameseries that's similar, named "Guns of Icarus" ;-)

@Wazbat i actually found out about your Game though misclick while searching for Project Nomads related stuff, for Search Engines it seems to be related^^
(happy free advertising 🤣)
It looks interesting and promising^^ - I'll definitively follow it :-)

Edit:
seemed to be an Page error, removed unrelated comment about it

It's an unfinished, underdeveloped, fastly made garbage game - but damn, it's idea is astonishing fascinating! 🤩
I really hope that we see something similar one day! :-) - at least it's not difficult to make a better job with it! xD
