Vehicle won't go.
I am stuck I have watched tubes and did everything exactly the way it shows.
I have a battery Charged. Battery connected to Switchboard , switchboard and battery turned on with electricity,. Tires are set to rotate correctly . Rear set to speed , front set to steer.
Tested stearing works. But when I get in the vehicle it will not go forward. I get out look at everything again. Everything is turned on and battery has 90% power and connected to switchb oard and switchboard is connected to All four wheels. Front wheels turn in same directlion.
But all for wheels show RED power when in B view. I am not sure what is wrong.

Apparently using switchboard for 4 wheels doesn't work. I connected the one battery
to one wheel. Then connected the switchboard to the other wheel.

Now it rolls wierdly but atleast it rolls.
I guess I am going to go on a youtube marathon to see how vehicles work.

I got all my stuff working now, for those following my progress.

Rover looks like this W- W +WF

Simple but effective.

How many batteries do you have?
Generally, you want 1 battery per wheel, some players like 2 per wheel.
You should 4 batteries connected to the switchboard, and then the switchboard connected the wheels.

What works for me is to connect the batteries and wheels all to the switch as well as having the switch on the car linked to another on the outside of my main building by where I park.

If the wheels are showing the red electricity icon then somethings gone awry so you may want to disconnect it all and redo that just on the off chance you got the wires crossed so to say.

Just one battery , but the switchboard seems optional. I am going to follow your lead
and not spare the battery. One per wheel. But why does the battery need charging.
I have seen people in vids just build a battery connect and get in and drive.

Conflict of what the tutorial says.

This looks like a Creative game Dude is putting a bazillion generators on it.

I am going with One or two batteries per wheel and also going to but a biomass generator on my vehicle.

Thanks

Those videos where done in creative mode where batteries don’t need charging.
You don’t need a switchboard, but with one you can connect it to a second switchboard for the vehicles lights and stuff making it easy to turn them off/on.
Also with a switchboard, charging and recharging is a lot easier.
Switchboards will automatically reconnect when you get back in range.

Remember to slap a solar beacon on to help keep tabs on where you parked it.
