Each block has a weight and sums up. If the car is too heavy it wont move.

- 14 batteries (2 per wheel, 1 for FAD, 1 for stasis and the extra headlight)
- 14 storage crates (168 slots!)
- emergency printer
- stasis pod
- FAD machine
I don't see a need for crafting advanced materials on the fly, but I do like to be pumping out frames/plating/batteries/food while I'm traveling and the small printer cuts down on mass. The stasis pod doesn't just provide convenient rest, it also serves a respawn point - an essential if you don't want to hike kilometers back to your vehicle after an unfortunate accident. Anything else can be set up at temporary outposts (you've got plenty of room to carry the necessary supplies and lots of available power to run all the equipment.) I prefer the terrain visibility of a front-mounted cockpit, and I've found the hills easier to take with more speed. I've had no rollover issues with the narrow body and it's easier to navigate boulder fields, dense forests and other such obstacles. (Keep the shocks stiff to avoid low rocks and other hazards.) It's got everything a nomad really needs in a compact frame!
I haven't either, but I've got 'em (I built the bed out of batteries instead of armor blocks) so I might as well use 'em. They'll help if we ever have to account for the mass of stored items. Mostly they just keep me from having to rebuild a generator every time I want to plug in extra equipment.

The only modification I made since the screenshot was a medical printer on the right side, opposite to the FAD machine.
Features:
11x Compact storage units (132 slots, all connected). They work as a frame for the vehicle.
1x FAD machine
1x Beacon
1x Stasis Pod
4x Batteries for wheels + 2x Batteries for Medical and FAD machines
3x Emergency 3D printers.
This vehicle could be built within 1-2 gameplay hours easily (survival mode) if you know what you are doing in the game. It does struggle climbing steep hills though, maybe it's because there are 2 pairs of wheels, each operating with 1 battery, not sure.

Why do you need Bio generators when you have nuke generator??
On rotating plates? Cool
What is the purpose of those unfinished armor slopes?
The unfinied armor was for deflecting trees and animals, occasional they would stuck between the suspension truck and upper deck.

on the flat and approx 28 up slopes....heavy slopes are normally around 10.
I have 6 containers and 1 stasis pod onboard. This is probably the best setup
so far for me. All wheels are turning front 6 normal and back 6 opposite direction.
If you play around with the steering you will see what I mean. This gives you
a tighter turn and better control.
