You made two new location.
The steam version lack of the most important one.
It's already lack of photogrammetry map, it miss one in it. When you'll gonna add it?
Why IF?
The game severly lack of 3D environment. WHy you got to make an exclusive?
I hope it's limited Time. It's counter productive.
This is so stupid! TWO content exclusivity deals tied to specific hardware manufacturers? Nice 'educational experience' ! Fk you, seriously. Disgusting greed undermining what would be a more complete educational experience.
Thank you Magpie
Side note: OMG When I first saw the message I thought it was a reply to mine lol
Magpie, we didn't get any money from Sony nor Samsung. Giving them some small amounts of content for time-limited exclusivity was required to get the technical support (mostly free devkits) and help on event showcases of the application.
We still plan to release all the previously exclusive elements on Steam plus add a new content here that won't be available on the other platforms (not because of exclusivity, but because we know Steam also deserves more attention now).
Steam wouldn't need more attention if it had enough in the first place.
How long until we get the map?
It's absolutely not possible to keep the same build on all platforms - we would obviously do it to save time and work if it was possible. Oppositely, every release on every platform is the painful process. Each platform has a different rendering caps, control system or build size limitation and even SDK or hardware updates frequency. Oculus, Vive, Samsung are upgrading both hardware and drivers every few months and it's very time consuming to keep up to date with all these updates.
Stay tuned a bit more and you'll see much more than just one map added to Steam.
A map more or less won't delay the update by several months tho!
