Hey Louna, we'll be releasing an update for all our desktop VR platforms shortly, ending an early access phase. We've added some photogrammetric locations, so I hope You'll enjoy the new content. Have an awesome day!

The resolution is 4 times higher in the full release (4k) - coming this autmn after the PSVR release.
It was one of the best experiences @ gamescom, a milestone in VR experiences.

Because the game need more than an higher resolution. It need actual photogrammetry. No matter how big the resolution is, 360 videos are anything but immersive especially with photogrammetry.

Sure, it's mostly a photogrammetry project and hard work to build all the 3d stuff - sorry, i had forget to mention it. There could be more infos from the devs, but i think they will update the news shortly after their gamescon visit. It's shocking immersive like nothing else so far - good enough?

edit: Some places are with full movement (teleport), if that was not clarified before from the devs.

The game is FAR from what was actually advertised.
The photogrammetry places are ridiculously bad for photogrammetry. This is anything but immersive with such bad resolution and no to barely any actual roomscale.

There's much more immersive content, yeah Chernobyl is clearly what I want for VR as I already visited in one of these organized trip when I visited a russian friend who live in Moscow.

But the feeling in VR isn't immersive, far from what they advertised and really badly done.
The environment there changes a LOT every month. And I hope they actually had some really good content for photogrammetry from the past and not just actually only recently worked on getting new content only AFTER the launch failure.
