Most efficient way to gain experince( Level up)
I have been playing the game for around 10 hours. My aim is better than most of the people online however I am level 17 atm. After around wave 40sh, I have to rely on someone in the team with blizzard and meteor. There is no way I can progress on my own without the high end skills. And I believe I probably need total of 30+ hours to unlock those skills.

So my question is how do you gain experience ? is it only correlated with the score you make in the game? does anyone know how the experience mechanics work?

I have looked up online and search this forum but noone seems to mentioned this before

Thanks in advance.

It is really good that you joined the community that plays this game. My observation is that you do need 30+ hours (level 37) to get a full set of useful magic. Here is what Wenkly Studios says about gaining experience points: "Each round you are gaining more experience based on your contribution in killing orcs and the spectacularity of your shots. Once the acquired experience increase your character level you are gaining a spell point that can be used to learn one of the fire element spells." I would say that your good performance and your time in the game reaching higher levels all count. I have not seen a real formula. Do not quit games before hitting 0 percent, I think your points are lost.

A nice person attempted guidance for newbies a while back: https://steamcommunity.com/app/503770/discussions/0/154644928860608907/

As far as magic goes the key one to have is the Explosion (bomb) in order to defend yourself from the Mother Dragon-----after wave 80, it may take 2 bombs or many great arrow shots.
The meteor is of infinite value when you are overwhelmed. Be careful with the blizzard, it slows the enemy down, and they will throw axes at you --- good exercise for the legs.

The multiplayer co-op community is very friendly. I use this game as part of my exercise program but really enjoy the people who join and chat while we play. If you see me between 4PM and 7PM please join me.

Thank you for the detailed explanation NanoNuc, it was very helpful. I really appreciate it.

I was lucky to play with very good players since I posted the topic. One of them was able to headshot almost all the orcs he killed and I would say his shots were pretty quick. That is when I realise it is actually possible to progress further without the level 35 skills. He carried us to level 100+ And, as you said, the experienced players seems like they are always happy to give you a hand with your questions, just like yourself.

I will keep your nickname in mind. Hopefully we come across one day.
