From the developer that brought you College Kings comes a brand new IP designed to get you to not only open the hearts of women along with their legs but also close criminal cases in the process.

It's clear that marriage is at the center stage here as the MC gets to choose early on to make his marriage exclusive to get extra hot scenes from his wife or opt for a semi-open marriage where she is exclusive to him as a her man but gets to watch him get down and dirty with other women in front of her and also join the fun every now and then, she also gets to gladly hear about your conquests when she's not around to join the fun. If you're into NTR then the marriage can be made fully open for you to see other men ravish your one and only before your eyes. The game is excellent at placing marriage as a central theme to the plot and even got me thinking about the whole concept from a fresh perspective.

M&M revolves around helping the police solve various cases ranging from murder and kidnapping to interrogation and hostage negotiation. After finishing each case you enter free roam to explore various side activities before moving to the next case and that's where the adult portion of the game mostly takes place by allowing you to explore romancing practically every single one of your female colleagues along with your wife's many attractive friends or simply meet up with your bros at a strip club or attend police senimars.

The side activities are quite rich and allow the game to shift from the serious detective mode to the playboy mode to give this AVN the best of both worlds. Another fantastic feature is the well-developed and extensive achievements that make progressing and exploring all branches of the story more enjoyable as this game has quite a lot of replayability especially given that you can finish the cases however you want and even send the wrong people to jail for crimes they didn't commit. Each full playthrough ranges from 6 to 10 hours to finish depending on how many side activities you engage in and there are many reasons to replay the game from the begining and not just once.

The writing is another winner here given that the MC is a charismatic and well-spoken former conartist you get to enjoy his wit and sense of humor in almost any dialogue including in the most dire of situations. I truly enjoyed the quality of writing and the phone system embedded in the game allows you to indulge even further in high quality banters with individuals or as part of group chats not to mention the occasional sexting!

Not everything is rainbow and sunshine here but it is difficult to find a flaw in this game as the developer has thought of everything to make this a banger, from playing in realife mode to prevent changing your decisions and offering the player to play in story or detective mode to a thorough progress and branching system along with an optional paid supporter DLC that can help you know the truth behind every murder case and offer many additional goodies. The musical score is also amazing and the background music and sound effects are done superbly well.

The only thing that is not excellent about this game is the quality of animations as they leave quite a lot to be desired and can occasionally break the immersion in this otherwise highly immersive detective adult opera. I really can't find anything else that I didn't like about this game and hope that the developer will embed "AI done right" in his next projects for improving the animations.

This game was a day one play for me and honestly I think it was one of the best AVN's of this year aimed at an audience that is not just adult but also mature! Highly recommended and good job to the developer.

Hey guys,
Just to make you aware I originally downloaded the game from my patreon subscription to @undergradsteve. and I have completed the game with multiple endings. But I liked the game so much I bought it on steam as well just so I could tell you how great it is.

The character arcs are amazing and the back bone story can be heart wrenching. whether you play these games for the stories or for the fluffing this game offers it all. from funny to serious. it can be an emotional rollercoaster depending on how you connect with the characters.

Putting the fluffing to one side, the back bone story and side stories are well written giving you moral dilemma's depending on your early choices and believe me your choices count in this game.

Thank you @undergradsteve and team for your efforts, we appreciate it.

A disappointing game with a lot of wasted potential
Murders & Mistresses was, unfortunately, a disappointment for me.
Steve has talked about this game as his baby and a passion project, and as a fan of these types of games, I genuinely wanted to like it. I’m not going to call it a bad game, because it isn't. But I can't call it a great one either.
My biggest problem with M&M is its lack of cohesion and depth.
The story feels surprisingly thin. We get three real investigations, a hostage situation, and that's about it. To be fair, I actually enjoyed the investigations themselves. They're fun and probably among the stronger parts of the game.
The problem is what happens afterwards: almost nothing.
You solve a case, get your proverbial pat on the back, and the game moves on. There is little reflection, discussion or aftermath. Most cases don't feel like chapters building towards a larger story, but more like separate episodes between the other content.
The Court investigation is the clear exception. That case actually connects to the larger story and helps drive it forward. It proves that the detective side of M&M works when an investigation is properly integrated into the narrative. I just wish the other cases had received the same treatment.
The MC is another problem for me. He comes across as arrogant and constantly showing off, yet somehow lacks charisma despite the game repeatedly trying to convince you otherwise. There is a difference between writing a confident character and having everyone around him constantly tell him how clever, attractive and amazing he is.
And that leads to my biggest issue with the relationships.
I rarely felt like I was actually building a bond with these women. Most seem to exist primarily to admire the MC. There is little challenge, tension or emotional development, and you rarely feel like you have earned someone's affection or attraction.
The lewd content suffers from the same problem. There is certainly plenty of it, but quantity isn't everything. Many scenes start feeling interchangeable. Change the girl and you often get essentially the same experience. Instead of being the payoff to developing relationships, the game sometimes feels like it's simply moving you from one lewd scene to the next.
At times, the women feel less like characters and more like bodies waiting for their next scene.
The big exception is Lou. For me, she is easily the standout character. She starts off shy and gradually comes out of her shell, and you can actually see her develop. Ironically, she ends up having more personality and charm than almost anyone else.
Even Nora disappointed me. Anyone familiar with Nora from College Kings knows how complex she can be. The Nora we get in M&M feels like a much flatter version of that character.
That's especially disappointing because Steve has already shown with College Kings that he can create characters and relationships players become invested in.
Steve described M&M as his best writing to date and has said that he wrote the entire game himself in roughly three months. After playing it, I can feel that short writing period. I can't say what happened during production, but to me the final game feels narratively rushed rather than technically unfinished.
There are good ideas everywhere. They just aren't given enough time to develop or connect with each other.
That's ultimately the problem with M&M: the investigations, relationships, characters and adult content rarely feel like parts of the same developing story.
When I compare that with College Kings or Being a ♥♥♥, that's what I miss most. Those games give me reasons to care about their characters. Relationships develop, characters have their own flaws and motivations, and the adult scenes mean more because something has been built before you get there.
More sex scenes don't automatically make a better adult game. I would gladly trade half of them for deeper characters, better relationship development, more meaningful choices and a stronger overarching story.
M&M isn't a bad game. The investigations can be genuinely enjoyable, the Court case shows what the detective side could have been, and Lou shows what stronger character development could have achieved.
That's exactly why it's so frustrating.
Murders & Mistresses isn't a bad game. It's a missed opportunity.
It has the pieces of a much better game, but never manages to bring them together.
