Patch 0.4.0 introduces the first world boss, guilds, the Nature element, new warships, and a major shard balance update.

The depths of the sea have awakened. Kraken has arrived as the first world boss.

Players can fight the boss together and compete on a new leaderboard based on their total damage contribution.

Kraken Tenderloin is a new tradable epic item awarded after defeating the boss.

Hunting the Kraken requires special warships capable of carrying unique creatures:

• Barge — 3 creature slots
  
• Barge Drakkar — 5 creature slots

The Barge Drakkar offers 100,000 cargo capacity, 2,200 durability, increased speed, and an extended vision radius.

Prepare your fleet carefully. The sea does not forgive weakness.

The cosmetic World of Eggs: Dragonpack is now available on Steam.

The pack includes:

• A new island theme
  
• Exclusive avatars
  
• Profile statuses
  
• A collection of emojis

This DLC contains cosmetic items only and does not provide any gameplay advantages.

Guilds are now available for the first time.

Creating a guild grants access to a shared guild island in the Yellow Zone and a storage accessible to all guild members.

Weekly Island Rent — 50,000 coins
Storage Capacity — 1,000,000 items
Rent Grace Period — 72 hours

Every member can contribute to the guild treasury and help maintain the shared territory.

Guild island loot remains protected for the guild for seven days.

This is only the foundation. More guild progression and cooperative activities will be introduced in future updates.

Nature has been added as a completely new combat element.

New Nature-related content includes:

Nature creatures use their own elemental damage and armor, expanding the existing combat interaction system.

A new synthesis chain has also been added:

• Combine three Hatched Nature Spawns to create Leafy
  
• Combine three Leafy for a chance to evolve them into Woody
  
• Woody synthesis success chance — 10%
  
• On an unsuccessful Woody synthesis, one Leafy is returned

Nature content introduces a new progression path—from gathering rare island resources to breeding powerful Nature creatures.

Shard modifiers have been rebalanced according to the new calculation model.

The update changes how shard bonuses interact with different activities and brings their efficiency closer to their intended progression level.

Additional adjustments:

• Toxic Mushroom shard duration reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes
  
• Shard-related crafting rewards have been adjusted
  
• Powder crafting can now produce up to 4 units instead of 3
  
• A new island shard activity has been added for Emerald Island

Existing shard setups may behave differently after the update. We recommend reviewing your production chains and expedition loadouts.

New construction recipes for both ships have been added to shipbuilding facilities.

These ships are designed for dangerous expeditions and world boss encounters where ordinary transport vessels are not enough.

NPC merchant inventories and prices have been rebalanced.

• Daily quantities of several basic resources have been reduced
  
• Prices of several specialist goods increased from 14,000 to 16,000 coins
  
• One high-tier daily item increased from 20,000 to 25,000 coins
  
• One weekly item increased from 140,000 to 160,000 coins
  
• Several unique creatures received stat adjustments
  
• A healing item can now restore 1 HP per second
  
• Crafting and harvesting rewards have been updated
  
• Emerald Chests and their opening recipe have been added

Patch 0.4.0 significantly expands cooperative play, naval progression, elemental combat, and the late-game economy.
