Duck Season
Not sure if this is something new or not.
A while ago, somebody completed all of the tasks in the press stage (I forgot the real name of it). That unlocked a cat that said when "the gate" would be open. Time has passed since then, and I decided to do the tasks again. Low and behold, the gate was open.

The cat has a bit of blood on him (I don't think it means anything, but if they went for aesthetics, the small eyed and red eyed cats crept me out.) The cat had some tracks / dirt, and from that dirt, is some paw-prints leading to door #2. I would love to tell you what it says, but I couldn't make out the words. I think the first 'gate' is Boneworks, and the last gate is machine king.
So it is cannon. Fido is now in boneworks, or maybe the sequel to boneworks. Either way, this confirms that the epic borker is still alive, and that the monkey did in fact lie when he said that you have taken care of the cryptec or whatever.
I'm telling you man, this game gaslights you. All of this plot could be fake, people are known to make wild theories when they play a game at 4 AM.(-X-)

Nah, nothing has changed as far as I could tell (and I was the one who first posted about this last year). I don't think any of the new '[REDACTED]' secret content is even in the VR version, yet? Or at least I couldn't find anything clearly new (aside from small things like the katana and more visible revolver, couch cushions, etc.) or get the UFO Cereal to appear.

The three doors are 'BONEWORKS', 'DEADFM 98.6', and 'MACHINE KING', the latter two at this point I am strongly suspecting will be two different 'games within a game' in Boneworks. Although, apparently the secret content in DSPC somewhat points against that by implying Machine Kings 'Saberlake' group is 'real' to the Boneworks game devs.

It's the cat and monkey who are now escaped to Boneworks, and have already featured in the Boneworks trailers. Dog is an unknown but seems to be canonically destroyed (in the so-called 'Canon End' of Duck Season).

EDIT: Coincidentally there was just a sizeable update, so I went to check, still no UFO cereal (played through up to after the dream after doing UFO Zombies immediately), but I was reminded of a few things; The invisible-ink note on the new magazine is definitely part of the new hidden content, so it makes the apparent absence of the rest of it all the more baffling. And, in the Virtual Showfloor scene, there WAS a pretty significant (and likewise baffling/aggravating) change - you can no longer teleport over to the newer areas (table with DSPC fliers and behind truck). There used to actually be the red SLZ-logo pads there, to let you know you could teleport, which are now gone. I remember last time I played I had used the dollhouse mode to do my best examination of that area and nothing jumped out at me as having changed, though (secret flier seemed the exact same, scrawled message from cat cryptid the same).

What is this about the UFO Cereal? I know you get sucked into a UFO after you complete the zombie survival minigame, achievable by using the kid wizard book on a pumpkin. Those paw prints in the third photo could be from a cat, so Kit-Kat could be in DEADFM 98.6. (Still does not explain the giant cat clock.) The reason why the pads are gone from the other side is because DSPC was released. Probably the same reason why the pad from the other side of the truck was gone, but you could have gotten a really good view from there at the floor and the doors. The kid wizard book is still in the show floor, it's just on the couch. There's also a VHS tape on the floor next to the kid, something about goblins. I doubt the dog actually died, given that the monkey lied in the fake ending. But who knows, there was a very recent update that rolled out, no change log. PS, when do you see the new magazine? I remember looking at the back on the last night, but not with a flashlight.

Magazine appears in the second hour, it's one of the Horror/Scifi/Supernatural type magazines with new art which seems to be an allusion to the main character/player, and on the back is a big list of 'secret symbols' and their meanings. The real payload is got by using the big yellow kids flashlight on it (remember that touchpad changes light color - there is a blacklight mode), revealing what seems to be a straightforward list of riddle clues to follow to the new secret content. UFO cereal is the second item on the list, and according to DSPC players is supposed to be unlocked simply by having ever completed the UFO Zombie wave shooter secret. It's then central to the rest of the new secret content. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work in the VR version (or at least not for me).
