Yeah I think its a solid game for kids to learn real life and how things are handled. We usually watch the kids play the games in case something comes across to them that they have questions. However, though it does not show graphically violence happening, it will have subject matters, like injuries, abuse, loss of life that and other topics voiced in conversation like a real 911 call. We supervised both our girls who play during their 1 hour play time until they are 15 and then we let them play games alone. Or oldest daughter enjoyed the game. The younger one found it tedious and boring. it should be fine. :enteringsteamvr:

I would say yes, but some of the caller use foul language, the F word, etc. Some of the cases are about suicide and murder.

So family friendly.
You can't keep reality away from kids and this game does a pretty good job at representing horrible situations in a still rather forgiving manner.

You are partially right, but thats not how parenting works. It can be traumatic for children to be exposed to certain concepts early on. Some kids are more thougher than others, sure, but its an unnecessary gamble nonetheless.

You are telling someone who is a father and holds a BSc in Psychology what is good for kids and what not. Just want to let you know that.

Also you are twisting words in my mouth which I view as a very offensive move.

I said kids. Kids is just an other word fo children. Children are legally anything below the legal age of 18 (21 in the US). Socially talking kids are something between 1 and 14ish.

As soon as kids start participating in the outside world more by themselves, such as playing on the playground with friends, going home from pre-school or what not, they have to learn what dangers there are and that accidents, people and some situations are horrible.

When I was around 6 I knew what a pedophile was, a murderer, that car accidents can look ugly. Me growing up in a large city made me learn pretty quickly and having almost be pulled in to the car of a predator around 2 times was only prevented by me knowing about such people and how they trick kids, allowing me to fight back and escape. If I did not have this awareness I would probably not be around anymore.

Ofc you don't reach that awareness by showing them gory, traumatizing videos of some Autobahn accident or homicide, hence I swaid that this game is doing a good job at representing horrible situations in a forgiving manner, so to speak, no ugly images or videos, no horribly traumatizing audio sequences although some serious ones, no bad visuals.

I thought this was clear to people who play the game as well. Games like this are great for kids who are mature enough to comprehend what this is about and rather boring and useless to kids who do not.

I do indeed considering I have come up with plenty of arguments while you have only twisted the words in my mouth.

Let's take the tone down a little bit. Question was answered. Let's move on people.

I never post. I was seeking a question I had re family ratings for the game. First link I click on has an internet argument getting blown out of proportion. Never fail internet- all is right in the world.
