illegal software thingy

can i get rid of this things ?..its always popping up after i finish campaign 6 ._....and no, im not using illegal copy -_-

Is your game legal? I heard that, the illegal software call out will pop out frequently when using an illegal copy of the game.

Hi there/ I'm a little confused, what is popping out at you? A message saying the game is an illegal version or a message saying there is a virus or malware on your system?

In any case, the game is virus checked by ourselves and through Steam. If there is any virus/malware/trojans/spyware in the files, Steam will not let you download it at all.

If it's a message saying you are not using a legal version of the game, try verifying the game files using the Steam menus - If something has been edited or has become corrupted, it could make the game think it is not a genuine version.

so basically a case pop up in a maps, it says "illegal software" so i have to my cops there and solved it, sometimes its pops up sometimes not..idk why, ill try to verivy the cache, and yeah the games kinda buggy at some points, happens randomly sometimes its takes too long to start the duty *shrug

That's not a bug. A report is something you have deal with in game, a non-emergency case you have to deal with. It's not accusing you of anything, it's part of the game!

ah well i understand, i verived the game cache and well there is nothing to fix, i guess its part of the game afterall..anyway thank you, now i can set my profile private again..thanks for your explanation, gday.!

the game notices if someone messes with the game files, and make that "illegal software" report quite annoyingly often.
But the report is present in legal game too, just very unpopular.
