Agreed.
You can turn it off forever if you dont like it with a single checkbox.
Please do not compare it with aggressive and annoying unrelated vids in free mobile games - we do not put that even in the free iOS version.
There is no checkbox anywhere on the screen for me. No way to turn them off as far as I can see.
I'm sorry you don't like the comparison but that's exactly how it feels to me and so I will compare it to that. Sticking them in my face every time the game starts up and every time it shuts down feels extremely aggressive IMHO.
Of course, we know that they want us to buy more games, but not putting it all over their faces. As players, we will decide whether to buy them or not. In fact, Steam only needs to click on the editor and see other titles that they distribute.

Nope. Literally no one in this thread compared these to that. Nice strawman you got there to help you justify ignoring people's actual gripe with being force fed ads in a product they 100% paid for, though.
