Fire Extinguiser on Burner

Someone called that said they dropped a cloth on the burner, and I told them to use a fire extinguiser, and it didn't work. Why's that? Also, the call got bugged and I had to ignore it to continue the rest of the duty.

The fire extinguiser worked on the burning toaster, and oil, so I don't get why it didn't work on the burner.

this is a bug in the game. Dev team work hard to fix this...

It's definitely not a bug guys. Use some damn common sense. Fire extinguishers won't always work. They might be half empty, or the person might not use it right, etc. It's hit and miss for any fire, except oil + water will always = worse fire.

Also dont forget not all fire extinguishers are the same. you would not use water on a petrol fire. that would make it worse.

You would not use powder on an electrical fire. you would just wreck everything electronic.

You would not use Carbon Dioxide of a paper fire because it would be blown everywhere. etc.

It is known that this call is bugged, same for the chopped of leg call. However, you indeed should take in account which equipment is most appropriate to be used. You should be faced with a little 'booklet' when loading maps and such, which explains what to do in what situation.
