The gameplay's pretty boring and the story isn't great

Cool concept, but the game's humor just didn't click with me. As a huge Monty Python fan, this game unfortunately didn't live up to "overwhelmingly positive" expectations

Mildly interesting game. Would have enjoyed it when I was a kid probably. As an adult and a Christian I find it not that good.

I played this game while offline, so the game time is much lower than the actual time.
The game is short. The plot is insignificant, and it's not really funny despite it tries to be.
The graphic and OSTs are an original and cool idea but that's all.

It's a short point and click game, taking heavy inspiration from Monty Python's collage animations and utilising paintings of medieval and renaissance masters. It's quite nice graphically and has a bit of absurdist theme.

The gameplay itself however is not particularly engaging, puzzles are not exactly clever or challenging and the humour feels somewhat stale. On top of that, it's about 2 hours long. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but given low level of interactivity outside choosing the correct actions, it's just that there's very little difference between actually playing it and watching someone else play it on YT.

It's not expensive, so if you feel that's something right up your alley, go for it, but I'll withhold my recommendation this time.

Some credit to the developer for trying to do something unique by combining the aesthetic of Monty Python with a point and click adventure game. However, in my opinion it is like some of the lesser Monty Python sketches, the ones that are not memorable or particularly funny, and one of the bad point and click adventure games, where the solutions seem more dumb than clever.

It’s a short game though, and it mostly does what it says. Well… “strives to be intelligent and ridiculous”… in the same way that Big Mouth, Disenchanted, and Futurama tries to be “intelligent”. There’s clearly a much bigger strive towards being ridiculous to the point where, if it tries to be intelligent it ends up doubling back around to being even more ridiculous given what it is. But, because of how constant the barrage of nonsense is, and that it doesn’t really ground it in characters that are worth caring about, it doesn’t quite come together for me.

If you are really intrigued by it, then give it a try, if nothing else it is a short experience. But if you are on the fence, my guess is, it is probably a bit too unique and niche for most point and click adventure game fans.

It's an ok game on sale. But I would not really recommend it especially on full price. The renaissance music and paintings that it's made of are a nice touch and its a bit funny on one hand. On the other hand, its just cut and paste without original graphics. The "puzzles" are not all straight forward and some things you will need to look up which is something that annoys me greatly in point and click games. With running around confused and finding a walk through and restarting the game because you can't complete the alcoholic achievement after you did the doctor bit you are barely at an hour and a half game time. The idea is nice (though not even original), the execution is lacking. I'm slightly confused about all the good reviews.

I wanted to like this I really did but the constant revolving options of Sight, Hand and Speak seriously wore me down to the point where the dialogue wasn't humorous anymore. I tried to get my Husband to play the game so I could get my monies worth but neither of us finished it through lack of interest.
Great idea but it falls short of what it could have been.
